We will be offering services for kids on-line so if your child has been sick or been around anyone that has been sick, please watch our Kid’s Ministry service from home.

We are excited to announce that we will resume our weekend services on Sunday, June 7th.  We are so excited to be able to meet again as a church community.

As we return, please know that it will be a little different than in the past. We will not be having Kid’s Ministry, Nursery or Junior High Ministry for the next several weeks to ensure the safety and health of our children.

We will also be following the CDC guidelines by sanitizing our facilities before and after each service. We will provide hand sanitizer and face mask for those who need them, as well as following social distancing guidelines.

Because of the guidelines that have been put in place, we want make sure there is adequate distance between rows of seats. So when you arrive, we will direct you to your seat and will dismiss people in groups to discourage congregating in the foyer.

We want you to know that if you’re not able to join us on site – that’s OK!  We will continue to livestream our 11am service on our RLC website, Youtube and Facebook. We would love for you to come and worship with us in person, but if you have any concerns or any health issues, please don’t feel any pressure to attend – you can worship along with us from home and join us on site when you feel comfortable.

We are so excited about coming together again on Sunday, June 7th.  We want to let you know that we have moved the time of our first service from 9:15 to 9:30   If you usually attend the first service, you have time for another cup of coffee before you arrive.

We want you to know we love you and are praying for you! We cannot wait to see you on June 7th!

Pastor Steve Owens

As you are probably aware, Governor Abbott took steps this week to begin easing restrictions on business and public gatherings. This is something that we’ve all looked forward to and it’s an encouraging sign that hopefully things are returning to normal. We want to honor and respect our governmental authorities and the advice of medical experts. We want to be cautious as to when we can begin to meet in person, so we can avoid any setbacks.

Many of you are wondering when we will be able resume our regular service schedule. I want you know that the health and safety of you and your family are very important to us.  When the time comes for us to come together again, we want to make sure that we’re prepared to follow all the health protocols necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of you and your family.

We plan to continue holding our services online for the next several weeks. We are also continuing to offer online experiences for Real Life en Espanol, Kid’s Ministry, Student Ministry and Young Adults.  This has worked well and has allowed us to remain safe while still being able to worship and experience God’s presence at home. In fact, the response has been amazing!

We are closely monitoring the coronavirus situation and will be posting any updates on our website and social media. As the situation evolves and regulations change, we will provide additional information.

We are looking forward to being able to meet again as a church family. I want you to know we love you, our leadership team is praying for you…and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Hey Real Life,

All of us are aware of the serious health crisis facing our world and nation. We are praying, believing and moving with wisdom to protect you, your family and our community. The past few weeks have been uncertain, and even though there are still many unknowns, some things have come into focus. With those developments in mind, I want to update you on necessary changes to the rhythm of Real Life Church.

While we LOVE our weekend experiences, we also love YOU and want to be sure there is no unnecessary danger to you and your family until the situation improves. While most of us are not at risk and we do not need to panic or be overly concerned, we want to care for our elderly and those with underlying health issues who are at greater risk.

It is out of this concern, as well as respect for our governing authorities, that WE HAVE CHOSEN TO MOVE OUR REGULAR SUNDAY SERVICES TO ONE 11:00AM ONLINE EXPERIENCE. You will be able to stream this service beginning this coming Sunday morning and will have access to it throughout the day and into next week.

We have also decided to cancel all gatherings and events throughout the week including:
• Groups
• Young Adults
• Student Ministry Events (Wednesday nights and Zeal Retreat)
• Senior Brown Bag Lunches/Prayer
• Wednesday Night Prayer Meetings
• RLC Classes

As we learn more over the next days and weeks, we will adjust accordingly. Take heart from Psalm 46, and pray for each other and the world; that God would be at work, doing His will on earth as He does in heaven. Know that your pastors and elders are praying for you as we trust God in these changing times.

The pastors and elders will be reassessing this situation regularly. This is the plan moving forward and as we learn more, we will assess and continue to communicate with you via E-News, social media and our website.
