Introduction to 2020 Vision

When God says ”I know the plans I have for you…” (Jeremiah 29:11) it shows us that God has a vision for each of our lives. It has been said that …

“Everyone ends up somewhere, few people end up somewhere on purpose.”

Our goal is to live our lives intentionally and purposefully. 2020 Vision is a 21 day journey to see with clarity God’s Vision for us in six categories: My Purpose, My Relationship with God, My Money, My Friends, My Body, and My Work. To comprehend God’s vision for our life we must think big.

By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. Eph 3:20 (NLT)

When we pray (especially with fasting and Bible reading), God will reveal His Vision for our lives. As we pray and take action in accord with the 2020 Vision, it can become reality as God works in us and through us.

We expect to receive answers to many of our prayers during the 21 day period, but the 2020 Vision is for the entire year and beyond. Your understanding of God’s 2020 Vision will grow during your 21 days of prayer and fasting. You will record your thoughts each day in your prayer journal under the heading “Reflections”. These “Reflections” will be compiled on the page entitled “Insight” at the end of your Journal. Because you are intently focused on hearing from God, your “Insight” will contain a clear and powerful revelation of what you can do and pray to fulfill God’s 2020 Vision for you.

Using the “Insight” that you compile you will create “My Goals” and “My New Prayer List” on the final pages of the journal. These goals and prayers will be your agreement with God’s 2020 Vision. Our prayer for you is that as you work toward these goals and pray these prayers throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to celebrate often as God works in you and answers your prayers.
